I have been practising acupuncture in Cheltenham since 1981, after completing an initial three-year training in Five Element Acupuncture at Leamington Spa College, where I studied under Professor J.R. Worsley, one of the first to introduce classical Chinese acupuncture to the West.

In 1981, I founded Cheltenham Holistic Health Centre, a leading centre for complementary therapies in Gloucestershire. As well as being a director of CHHC Ltd, I am actively involved in the development of the acupuncture profession in the UK, and have held several offices, including chairman and president of the Traditional Acupuncture Society

Traditional acupuncture is a healthcare system based on ancient principles which go back nearly two thousand years. It has a very positive model of good health and function, and looks at pain and illness as signs that the body is out of balance.
